High-performing teams are important for the success of the mission. There are several puzzle pieces that help make up the picture of high-performing teams:
Ask yourself the following questions to estimate how you and your team rank on performance.
On a scale from 1–10, with 10 being peak performance, how am I performing regarding:
- Trust – Are my decisions valued and respected by my teammates?
- Cohesion – Do I work well with others?
- Diversity – Do I offer unique ideas or solutions to my team’s problems?
- Leadership – Am I clearly communicating my expectations to my teammates?
On a scale from 1–10, with 10 being peak performance, how does my team perform regarding:
- Trust – Do I trust my teammates to get the job done safely and efficiently?
- Cohesion – Does each team member contribute to the team’s shared goals?
- Diversity – Are all the members of my team involved in problem-solving?
- Leadership – Do my leadership skills positively impact my team’s dynamics and productivity?
