Signs of Relationship Violence and Abuse

It isn't always easy to spot experiences that can be classified as violent or abusive in relationships, and can be difficult to decide what to do whether you are on the giving or receiving end of it. There is a tendency to only classify abuse as physical and intentional – such as a punch or slap, out of anger. But violence and abuse can look many different ways. Knowing the signs can help keep yourself and your family safe. And, help is available if and when needed.
